After announcing its Anna Karenina-inspired capsule collection this summer, Banana Republic has put the goods on shelves (both brick-and-mortar and virtual)! The designs, by Banana’s Creative Director Simon Kneen (inset), have a 1950s feel—even though the film, based on Leo Tolstoy's classic novel, takes place in 1870s Russia—thanks to costume designer Jacqueline Durran’s Dior New Look-inspired ensembles for the film.
